Charity

The Bingo Association currently supports Variety – The Children’s Charity and has previously worked with Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland, Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Macmillan.

We work on an ongoing basis with one designated national charity at a time.  When we commit to support an agreed charity or cause, we then work with members and the charity to agree on a plan of activity. In addition to fundraising, this usually encompasses information dissemination and the raising of issue awareness.

Bingo Loves Variety

Since 2015, The Bingo Association, its members and their customers have raised over £2 million for Variety, The Children’s Charity, more than double the original target of £1 million through our fundraising events such as the Bingo Association Golf Day and via linked bingo games.

The funds raised have made such a positive impact on the lives of people in our local communities, supporting children with mobility limitations, sight impairments, non-verbal, learning, sensory and behavioural problems to name a few.

So far, we have donated a total of 36 Variety Sunshine Coaches to schools and non-profit making groups and organisations throughout the UK, as well as funding monetary grants, fun days out and life-sustaining medical equipment.

The Bingo Association is proud to be supporting Variety to improve the lives of disadvantaged or disabled children throughout the UK. With the continued support of our members, colleagues and customers, we will continue to make a difference by supporting this amazing charity.

Lives have been changed, the unachievable was achieved, friends were made through great family days out, hope was given to those who had given up, all this because The Bingo Association made it happen.
